Vanilla Buttercream Frosting

Vanilla Buttercream Frosting that's lick the bowl tasty and perfect for cakes or cupcakes. Recipe makes 1.5 cups of frosting, or enough to frost 12 to 16 cupcakes.

- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 10 tablespoons non-dairy butter, softened to room temperature
- 1 teaspoon non-dairy milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Instructions
- Step 1: With a stand or hand mixer, beat the butter on low until creamy.
- Step 2: Add the powdered sugar and vanilla. Beat on low for 30 seconds, then increase the speed for one minute or until fluffy. Add the milk to thin the consistency if needed, using up to 1.5 teaspoons of milk total if needed. Too sweet? Add a very tiny pinch of salt.
- Serve: Use immediately while at room temperature or cover and refrigerate. If refrigerating, beat the frosting again until creamy (adding a little more milk if needed). This frosting is great on The Best Vanilla Cupcakes.
