- 2 tablespoons unseasoned rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon + 1/2 teaspoon cold water (divided)
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- 1/2 teaspoon corn starch
- 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Step 1: Stir together the corn starch and 1/2 teaspoon of the cold water in a small bowl until a smooth slurry is formed. Set aside.
- Step 2: Combine the remaining sugar, rice vinegar, olive oil, 1 tablespoon water, sriracha, chili flakes, and salt in a small saucepan.
- Step 3: Bring the sauce to a simmer over medium-low heat. Pour the slurry from step 1 into the simmering sauce, stirring constantly as you do so.
