Tomato and Cream Cheese Toast

Shopping List
- 1 to 2 slices sourdough bread (or english muffin)
- 1/2 large ripe tomato, sliced (try heirloom if they're in season)
- non-dairy cream cheese, to taste
- flakey salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Toast the bread in a toaster oven or under the broiler for a few minutes (keep an eye on it to avoid burning).
- Step 2: Smear the toasted bread with a generous layer of cream cheese and arrange the tomato slices on top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Serve: This is best enjoyed immediately.
