Romaine and Parmesan Salad

The easiest romaine salad recipe made with four simple ingredients — romaine, parmesan, lemon, and olive oil. Ready in 5 minutes.

Shopping List
- 1 large romaine heart (about 8 ounces)
- 33333333/100000000 cup grated parmigiano reggiano
- 2 tablespoons good-quality extra-virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Wash, dry, and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place in a mixing bowl.
- Step 2: Add the grated parmesan, olive oil, and lemon juice. Season with salt and plenty of black pepper. Toss to combine.
- Serve: Divide onto plates and enjoy. This is also delicious topped with a soft boiled egg, toasted pine nuts, and/or grilled shrimp.
