Olive Oil and Balsamic Toast

Smooth olive oil, balsamic vinegar, and crunchy toast. It's so easy it almost doesn't need a recipe. For the most delicious experience, choose a high quality syrupy balsamic vinegar that's naturally sweet and not astringent. This toast makes the perfect snack.

Shopping List
- 1 large slice bread, such as sourdough
- 1 to 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, to taste
- 1 tablespoon good balsamic vinegar, to taste
- flakey sea salt, to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Toast the bread on both sides in a toaster oven or under the broiler for a few minutes (keep an eye on it to avoid burning).
- Step 2: Drizzle or brush the toast generously with the olive oil until the surface is lightly covered. Then drizzle with the vinegar and sprinkle the salt over the top. Keep in mind that the exact amounts needed will vary depending on the size of your bread, so adjust accordingly.
- Serve: Have a crunchy bite and enjoy.
