No-Bake Lactation Bites

Lactation bites made with naturally milk-boosting (galactagogues) ingredients such as almond butter, dates, oats, fenugreek, blackstrap molasses, and flax. These energy balls are great for breastfeeding mothers, but they're also delicious and 100% safe for partners and kids alike. Store in the refrigerator or freezer and tuck them into lunchboxes, purses, or strollers for a wholesome snack on-the-go.

Shopping List
- 1/2 heaping cup pitted medjool dates
- 33333333/100000000 cup almond butter
- 1/4 cup flax meal
- 1/4 cup rolled oats (Note 1 for substitution)
- 1/2 tablespoon ground fenugreek
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon blackstrap molasses
Instructions
- Step 1: Combine all ingredients in a food processor and blend until the mixture balls up and the large nuts pieces are broken down. The dough should be able to stick into a ball shape when pressed between your fingers. If it doesn't seem sticky enough, try adding another date.
- Step 2: Use your hands to roll the dough into small ping-pong-sized balls.
- Serve: Enjoy. Store in the freezer or refrigerator.
Recipe Notes
Note 1: Can't do grains? Try substituting the oats with 1/4 cup of toasted coconut flakes.
