Maca is an adaptogenic root that has recently gained in popularity thanks to its many proclaimed health benefits. In this easy smoothie, a bit of nutrient-dense maca combines with bananas, spinach, almond butter, and almond milk for a smoothie that's thick, tasty, and healthy.

Shopping List
- 1 large banana, frozen and cut into chunks
- 1 handful raw spinach
- 1 tablespoon smooth almond butter
- 1 teaspoon maca powder (we use this one)
- 1 cup non-dairy vanilla almond milk
- 1 scoop plain or vanilla protein powder (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth. Add more milk or ice to reach desired consistency.
- Serve: Grab a glass and enjoy.
