How To MakeDiet Type: Low-carb
Shopping List
- 1 pound(s) 93% lean ground turkey
- 2 scallions, chopped (white and light green parts only)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
- 2 small garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- salt, to taste
Instructions
- Step 2: Chop the scallions, parsley, cilantro, and garlic with a knife.
- Step 3: Place the chopped herb blend into a large bowl with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Add the turkey and mix until just combined.
- Step 4: Wet your hands with water (to prevent sticking) and shape the turkey mixture into 3 or 4 patties.
- Step 5: Heat a lightly oiled frying pan over medium-high heat. Once sizzling hot, add the burgers. Set a timer and cook for about 3 minutes per side. Do not fiddle with the burgers while they cook. 20 seconds before the burgers are done, add a splash of water to the pan and cover with a lid. The steam will help cook the burgers all of the way through. If your burgers are on the larger side, add an extra minute or so.
- Serve: Enjoy as is, or as a burger. We love these over salads or grain bowls.
