Cream Cheese and Sprout Bagel

A tasty and easy vegetarian bagel loaded with avocado, juicy tomato, sprouts, and cream cheese, all on a toasted bagel. Also delicious with a few slices of turkey or smoked salmon, if you dig it.

Shopping List
- 1 bagel of choice (store-bought or homemade low-carb bagels)
- 1/2 large tomato, sliced
- 1/2 avocado, mashed
- 3/4 ounce sprouts of choice (about 1 small handful)
- cream cheese, to taste (dairy or non-dairy)
- everything bagel seasoning, to taste (optional, Note 1)
Instructions
- Step 1: Halve and toast the bagel. Smear one half with the mashed avocado. Spread the cream cheese over the other bagel half and sprinkle with the optional bagel seasoning. Top with the tomato slices and sprouts.
- Serve: Cut it in half and enjoy.
Recipe Notes
Note 1: To make a homemade version, try combing 1 tablespoon EACH of poppy seeds + white sesame seeds + black sesame seeds + dried garlic + dried onion. Add sea salt to taste, about 1/2 tablespoon. Stir well and store up to several months.
