- 1 to 2 slices crusty bread (such as sourdough or gluten-free oat bread)
- 3 ounces fresh lump crabmeat
- 1/2 large avocado, diced
- 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1/2 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
- 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon fresh grated ginger (double for ginger lovers)
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Toast the bread in a toasted or oven until golden.
- Step 2: Meanwhile, stir together the lime or lemon juice, crabmeat, mustard, mayonnaise, and ginger in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Stir gently so as not to break the big pieces of crabmeat.
