Shopping List
- 1/2 cup raw cashews
- 6 tablespoons water
- 1/4 small yellow onion, diced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 tablespoon non-dairy butter
- 2 garlic cloves, peeled
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (Note 1)
- 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Add all the ingredients to a high-powered blend and blend until very smooth. There is no need to soak the cashews if using a high-powered blender.
- Step 2: Use in Mushroom Alfredo Pasta or store in the refrigerator.
