Shopping List
  • 1/2 cup raw cashews
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 1/4 small yellow onion, diced
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 tablespoon non-dairy butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, peeled
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (Note 1)
  • 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
  1. Step 1: Add all the ingredients to a high-powered blend and blend until very smooth. There is no need to soak the cashews if using a high-powered blender.
  2. Step 2: Use in Mushroom Alfredo Pasta or store in the refrigerator.
