Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Easy Baked Sweet Potato Fries! Just slice, season, and bake. No breading or deep-frying. Air-fryer option in the notes below.

- 1 pound sweet potato (about 2 medium-sized potatoes)
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
- garlic powder, to taste
- salt, and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the oven to 410°F. Clean the sweet potatoes (peeling is optional) and slice them into french-fry shapes or thin wedges.
- Step 2: Place on a baking sheet and season with the oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread the potatoes out one by one over the sheet (avoid overcrowding so they get nice and browned).
- Step 3: Bake at 420 for about 15 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through. Once they look browned on the edges, take them out.
- Serve: Enjoy with a little extra salt on top.
Recipe Notes
Note 1: Want to make these in an air-fryer? Air fry the seasoned sweet potato fries at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 8 to 10 minutes total (you might need to add a little more time if they are thick slices).
