Asian Marinated Beef Burgers

Valentina P
This is one heck of a burger. Asian-inspired ingredients like scallions, cilantro, garlic, fish sauce, and hot sauce add tons of flavor to standard beef. Everyone I've served this to raves about it. The process is simple: mix it all up and then fry it up. Let the seasoned beef marinate for a few hours for even more flavor. Try these in a bun, over salads, or even rolled up into a sushi burrito.

Shopping List
- 1 pound grass-fed lean beef (we use 90% lean)
- 1/4 cup scallions, chopped (white and light green parts only)
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon coconut aminos
- 1/2 tablespoon fish sauce
- 2 teaspoons hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
- pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Mix together all of the ingredients until uniform. Try not to over-mix the meat here. You can now marinate the beef for a few hours in the refrigerator, or cook it immediately.
- Step 2: Shape the meat into burgers and cook them in a hot frying pan or grill. Cook them on both sides until your desired doneness is reached.
- Serve: Enjoy these burgers in a Teriyaki Pineapple Burgers, wedged between a lettuce bun, or rolled up into a sushi burrito.
