How To MakeDiet Type: Classic
Shopping List
- 1 large boneless skinless chicken breast (about 6-8 ounces per breast)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons white wine
- 1/2 heaping teaspoon dried oregano
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Slice the chicken breast into very thin cutlets, about 4 to 5 thin cutlets per breast. Alternatively, buy pre-sliced chicken cutlets and pound them until they are about 1/4-inch thin.
- Step 2: Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken cutlets in a single layer and cook for 2 minutes, flipping over the cutlets after the first minute.
- Step 3: Add the wine, oregano, salt, and pepper. Lower the heat to medium and cook for 3 to 4 more minutes, or until cooked through.
- Serve: Plate the chicken and pour the pan juices over the top. Enjoy.
Recipe Notes
Note 1: No wine? Try using a 50/50 blend of chicken broth and apple vinegar or lemon juice.
