Garlic Sautéed Spinach

This garlic sautéed spinach recipe is a very easy and healthy side dish that takes less than 10 minutes to make.

- 8 ounces baby spinach
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- lemon juice, to taste (optional)
- salt and red pepper flakes, to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chopped garlic and cook for 15 to 30 seconds, or until lightly golden.
- Step 2: Add the spinach to the pan, adding more to the pan as it wilts if it cannot all fit at once. Continue sautéing and stirring the spinach into the garlic for 3 to 5 minutes, or until well wilted.
- Serve: Season the spinach with salt and pepper and squeeze a little optional lemon juice over the top. Divide onto plates and enjoy.
